Back to School

Enjoying summer? Have you started thinking about school yet?

Around the Schwary household, we’re already anxious to know who our teacher will be! Who will be our classmates be? Will we have a lot of homework? Are we prepared for the next grade? Have we forgotten the basic facts and skills?

It’s amazing how EVERY teacher always ends the school year by saying, “Don’t forget to review your basic math facts over the summer!” That’s because it all starts with the basics—right? If you never learn to add or subtract, it will be difficult to learn to multiply and divide!

If you are a parent of a preschooler or kindergartener, it should be a priority to make sure our children get a solid educational foundation as they prepare for school! The Pre K Scholars does just that—check out our feature this week at OC Mamma and get started on those Basic Facts!
