Thanks Jana! I am so glad you are having such positive results with the Pre K Scholars Curriculum! The 4-5 year old is capable of so much and it is incredible when you see the learning light turn on...and with a smile, I might add!

January 29, 2009

I am just finishing my day of teaching with my Pre K Scholars Home Based Business Kit. My partner and I are so thrilled to be doing this, as we both are unable to teach full-time since we have young children at home. We teach a morning class and an afternoon class. It was our fourth class today and we have already found our groove with our class and each other.

From a professional perspective, it is so great to be working with children in a learning environment again. Their capability just amazes me. I feel very lucky to be a small part of their pre-school education. They are picking up the Scholarville alphabet and consequently learning their letters and sounds so quickly, I can hardly believe it!

On a personal note, I feel as though I have a piece of me back. It was really hard for me to give up my position when my son was born 6 years ago. I never thought I wouldn't be teaching. This program has given me the independence that I enjoyed so much. Most importantly, I feel like I am contributing to the family again. So as Amy mentioned before, this is definitely a "win-win" situation for everyone involved.
