Creative Ways To Prepare Your Child For Kindergarten!

She has a very strong grasp of the letters and their sounds and is able to work her way through sounding out some words. She is very excited to be able to look at a book and see more than just letters jumbled on the page.

Home-Based Education: A Win-Win Situation

January 27th, 2009

I have two friends, both former teachers, who decided to purchase the Pre K Scholars Home Based Business Kit. They purchased it together and are currently co-teaching two classes. After their first class they, too, got the big grin I refer to. One of them said to me, “I am still on such a ‘high’ from our first class. I didn’t realize how much I missed teaching.”

Pre K Scholars is the perfect connection for anyone that is a natural with children and has a passion for teaching. It makes a teaching position available for those of us who have other young children and are not able to take a full-time classroom job.

Pre K education is especially ideal for the retired teacher; we get to return to our passion and work from home, all the while strengthening the bridge between preschool and Kindergarten and also making additional income for our families. With the current state of the economy, this is an added bonus.

My husband and I call these situations “win-win” situations because everyone benefits. In this case, the children are enriched, the teachers are fulfilled and the parents are both impressed and relieved.

Do you know someone who fits the profile— a retired elementary school teacher who would like to teach preschoolers?

I am just finishing my day of teaching with my Pre K Scholars Home Based Business Kit. My partner and I are so thrilled to be doing this, as we both are unable to teach full-time since we have young children at home. We teach a morning class and an afternoon class. It was our fourth class today and we have already found our groove with our class and each other.

From a professional perspective, it is so great to be working with children in a learning environment again. Their capability just amazes me. I feel very lucky to be a small part of their pre-school education. They are picking up the Scholarville alphabet and consequently learning their letters and sounds so quickly, I can hardly believe it!

On a personal note, I feel as though I have a piece of me back. It was really hard for me to give up my position when my son was born 6 years ago. I never thought I wouldn’t be teaching. This program has given me the independence that I enjoyed so much. Most importantly, I feel like I am contributing to the family again. So as Amy mentioned before, this is definitely a “win-win” situation for everyone involved.

Thanks Jana! I am so glad you are having such positive results with the Pre K Scholars Curriculum! The 4-5 year old is capable of so much and it is incredible when you see the learning light turn on…and with a smile, I might add!
